Makes me question some choices I have made (Carlos vs. Blain) but the more information I have, the better.

I have decided to try and complete an Ironman. Wisconsin, being my home state, is the only one I have the desire to do. This is my journey for the next 53 weeks before Ironman Wisconsin, 2008.

- 7. IRONMAN WISCONSIN - September 7 FINISH - 15 hours 41 min 7 sec. I AM AN IRONMAN!!!
- 6. Musselman Half Ironman - July 13 FINISH - 7 hours 27 min 24 sec. I am happy with the finish!!
- 5. General Smallwood Oly Triathlon - June 29 FINISH - 3 hours 31 min and 29 sec. It's a finish
- 4. The Great Chesapeake Bay 4.4 Mile Swim - June 8 FINISH - 2 hours 49 min. Alright
- 3. Reston 2 Mile Lake Swim - May 25 FINISH - 1 hour 2 min and 52 sec. Okay

Countdown to Race Day

Before you make a decision on road vs. tri bikes, you need to read this:

Don't base your decisions on what other people have in their blogs. Do what is most comfortable for you, use the equipment that you are familiar with.
You could spend hours reading Slowtwitch forums on road vs. tri bikes for IMWI (of which there are pages of opinions!). Personally, I'm going to show up in Madison on the bike that I've trained on all summer.
